Pre-deployment checklist

Before every deployment I mentally run through the same points. The goal is not to bring the kitchen sink, but to avoid arriving on site missing the one part that makes everything work.

• Technical docs: plans, schematics, IPs, credentials, on-site contacts.
• Critical hardware: spare cables, adapters, power supplies, LED modules or display spares.
• Tools: screwdrivers, tester, multimeter, cable-tie bags.
• Access: badges, opening hours, security contact, parking.
• Comms: charged phone, plan OK, roaming enabled if international.

The aim: arrive, install, test, sign off, leave. No heroics, just good order.
