LED wall commissioning checklist

Handing over an LED wall is the moment when small oversights become big problems. Here is the checklist I run through before sign-off:

• Power and signal cabling: redundant routes, strain relief, easy access.
• Module calibration: brightness, colour temperature, dead pixels, uniformity across batches.
• Control chain: sender card, receiver cards, NovaStar software version, backup config saved.
• Content testing: resolution match, aspect ratio, safe zones for fixed elements.
• Emergency procedures: who to call, how to reboot, where the spare modules are.

A signed checklist takes ten minutes and saves hours of panic later. Clients remember the handover more than the installation.
